Alternatively the affected skin may be gently massaged by using a body brush or a cloth. A pregnant woman should exercise daily to make her skin soft and supple. It reduces the amount of toxins present in the body and result in the skin toning and increases the elasticity of the skin.


Moreover applying good amount of moisturizing cream on the areas such as abdomen, thighs, breasts, buttocks and waist helps a lot for expecting women in reducing the chances of stretch marks. The main reason for stretch marks to appear is the rapid weight gain during pregnancy which can be prevented by taking well balanced diet having adequate content of vitamins which keeps the skin healthy and free from stretch marks.
